Michael Lynn  Patterson
Michael Lynn Patterson, 63, of Simpsonville, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at his home.

The son of Jesse Vernon (Pat) Patterson and Edna Francis (Mathews) Patterson of Gowdy, Indiana, in Rush county.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Gretchen Sue Patterson (Fields); his two daughters, April Patterson Walker of Greensboro, NC, and Noelle Patterson Buffkin of Travelers Rest, SC; his son, Dustin Michael Patterson of Simpsonville, SC; his four grandchildren, Brittany Paige Walker, Joseph Michael Solesby, Kristan Kelsea Patterson, and Jaden Michael Patterson; his three great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Payton, and Tyler; his brother, Bill Patterson of Tennessee; his three sisters, Nancy (Marvin) Beckner, Ruth Ann (Cliff) Weisner, and Mary Jo (John) Ruble.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Betty Walker, who passed away in 1999.

There will be a Celebration of Life for friends and family on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the home of Terry and Noelle Buffkin. 1308 Tubbs Mountain Road, Travelers Rest, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
