Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Dove can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Obituary for James Troy Dove

James T. Dove ("Doodle"), 46, of Greenville, SC, passed away on February 2, 2015.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Jones; his children; Kimberly Edwards; Mitchell Gillespie; Joshua Aiken; and Matthew Hendricks; his parents; James H. and Shirley Dove; his siblings; David Dove; Angela Cannon; Ann Lopez; and Arlene Barton; and his 7 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Palmetto Mortuary in Greenville, SC, with the funeral service to immediately follow. Interment will be at Graceland West Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, care of Palmetto Mortuary.
