John Wayne Martin, 62, of Greenville, South Carolina, went to be with his mama and sisters in Heaven on Monday, May 11, 2015.

He is survived by his soul-mate and love, Barbara Burnette Martin; his children; Angela Martin, and Chris and Tiffany Summerall; his siblings; Ricky Martin, Veda Gibson, Gladys Reid, and Thad Barker; and his grand-daughter, Samantha McDaniel.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Linda (“Jo”) Fore and Brenda Dillard, and his parents, Mabel Nix and James Martin.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 6:30 pm at Palmetto Mortuary in Greenville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Martin family, care of Palmetto Mortuary.
