Obituary for Roland Lee Shelton
Roland Lee Shelton, 80, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Shelton; his children, Joseph (April) Shelton, of Prue, OK, Reverend Stanley (Grace) Shelton of Vienna, Austria, and Reverend Anthony (Debbie) Shelton of Vienna, Austria; his siblings, Carolyn Kelley and Barbara Ogren; and his twelve grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Doris Day Shelton, and sister, Evelyn.
He served the Lord as a Pastor and Missionary in South Carolina, Iowa, and Vienna, Austria.
The visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Morningside Baptist Church, with the funeral service following immediately at 11:00 am.
The interment will be in Graceland West Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Morningside Baptist Church, to assist with Mrs. Shelton's care.
