Obituary for Fred Haynesworth Medlin

Fred Medlin, 64, of Travelers Rest, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015.

He is survived by his son, Jason Carter, his daughters; Michelle Houck, Sandy Fults, Teresa Smeltzer, and Heather Carter; his brothers, Joe Medlin, of Travelers Rest, and Ted Medlin, of Ocala, Florida; his sisters, Carolyn Cooke, of Travelers Rest, Linda Woods and Hazel Ricker, of Taylors, Helen Kimblehouse, of Fountain Inn, Debra Coleman, of Greer, and Janet Mast, of Marietta; and his grandchildren; Ethan and Luke Houck, Austin Mann, Brayden and Logan Fults, and Kayla Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Medlin.

A private service will be held at his residence for immediate family and friends only.

Flowers can be sent to 610 White Horse Road Extension, Travelers Rest, SC 29690. Donations can be made in Mr. Medlin’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
