Obituary for Ralph Kirksey Townes

Ralph Townes, 97, of Pickens, went to be with the Lord on Friday July 3, 2015.

He is survived by a son, Wade (Wanda) Townes, of Easley, a daughter , Nancy (Danny) Burrell, of Lake Toxaway, NC, three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Ola Crenshaw Townes, his parents, Thomas Wade and Nancy Gillespie Townes, two sisters, and two grandchildren.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at 4:00 pm at Gilead Baptist Church, the family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church cemetery.
