George Ellis  Barnett Sr.
Jimmy Barnett, 74, of Clinton, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at NHC in Clinton.

He was born in Laurens County to the late James and Elizabeth Barnett.

He is survived by his son, Dean (Grace) Barnett of Clinton; his daughter, Laura (Curtis) Barnett of Clinton; his stepdaughter, Nina Wagner of Whitmire; his stepson, Ross (Joan) Wagner of Whitmire; and his sisters, Judy Goodman of Newberry, and Vera (JC) Childress of Clinton.

He leaves behind six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, Ellis Barnett; and his sister, Rachel Barnett Brazell.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Emanuel Church in Clinton, located at Bailey Manor's Chapel, 300 Jacobs Highway.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
