Obituary for William Earl West
William Earl West, 80, of Greer, affectionately known as "Papa Earl", went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 18, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley West; his daughters, Denise (Phil) Plumblee, Kim Hartley; his grandchildren, Drew (Sarah) Plumblee, Jordan (Sarah) Plumblee, Grace Hartley, Samantha Hartley; and his great-granddaughter, Abby Grace.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyce L. and Emma L. West.
Earl worked his whole life as a pharmacist in Greer; and was devoted to his loving wife, his children, and his grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Greer, with the visitation prior to the service at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either Open Arms Hospice or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The family will be at the residence of Mr. West.
