Obituary for Robert Bruce Anslow

Robert "Bob" Anslow, 75, of Taylors, would like you to know that his work here is done. He received a call for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge bonus, and a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time.

Bob received his cosmetology license in Ohio, met and married Nancy, and relocated to Greenville to open Robert's Hairdressing, where he made people happy for 50 years, before retiring in 2013.

Bob, beloved husband to Nancy, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at his home, surrounded by loving family. He is survived by his children, Bobby (Cindy), Robin, Randy (Carol); his grandchildren, April, Bobby, Matt (ReAnna), Michelle, Melissa, Ashton, Cameron, and Cade; and his great-granddaughter, Mattyson.

Other surviving family members include Clay, Tiffany, Tyler, Jillian, and Charlie; and his special friends and wonderful caregivers, Pam and Kori.

Knowing and loving each one of you has been the greatest success story of Bob's life. How precious you all have been. Thank you all for the laughter and love.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, SC Chapter 864-250-0029 or Hospice Care of SC, Greenville Team 864-235-0344.

As Bob would say, "Have a good week."
