Obituary for Linda Wynn Stancell

Linda Wynn Stancell, 75, of Easley, went to be with her Savior on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the home of her sister.

Linda was born in Greenville County the daughter of the late Charles Clinton and Mary Emma Edwards Wynn. She was retired from The Medical Center in Easley after 42 years of service and was a member of East Pickens Baptist Church. Linda was a 1958 graduate of Berea High School, where she was class president.

She is survived by her son, William R. "Bill" Stancell of Easley; grandson, John Anthony (Jeanine) Stancell of Dacusville; her sister, Kathy Wynn of Greenville; and her great-grandchildren, Steven and Caitlyn Stancell, and Rylie and Carter Buchanan; and her daughter-in-law, Glenda Hester of Marietta.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a son, Steven Anthony "Tony" Stancell; and her brother, Frank Thomas "Butch" Wynn.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 3:00 pm at East Pickens Baptist Church.

The family is at their respective homes.

Flowers will be accepted and memorials may be made to East Pickens Baptist Church, 2244 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671.
