Obituary for Judy Strickland McKinney
Judy S. McKinney, 74, of Taylors, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 10, 2016.
The daughter of Frank and Josephine Strickland, Judy attended Greer High School and the University of South Carolina. She was a former administrative assistant for Burlington Industries and Celanese Corporation. She had been a member of Taylors First Baptist Church since 1972.
Judy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Vick D. McKinney; her three grandchildren, Rose Chappell, Tori Chappell, and Logan McKinney; her daughter, Leigh Sargent (husband, Barry Sargent); her son, Dale McKinney (wife, Melissa McKinney); and her sister, Joan Hawkins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 14, 2016, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Taylors First Baptist Church, with the funeral service following at 12:00 pm.
Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville.
