Obituary for Carolyn Sue Springs (Bedwell)
Carolyn Bedwell Springs, 48, of Greer, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 23, 2016 following a long battle with brain cancer.
Carolyn was known for her contagious laugh, her smile, and her giving heart.
She is survived by her longtime partner of 6 years, Brian Kerr; her daughter, Brittany (Russell Belk) Barwick; her father, John (Lucille Bailey) Bedwell, Jr.; her siblings, Marsha (Larry) Boyd, Kathy Bedwell, Robert (Lea Ann) Bedwell, Stephen (Kimberly) Bedwell, Gregory (Misty Gunter) Bedwell; her sister-in-law, Darlene Bedwell; and her several beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, David Johnathan "DJ" Barwick; her mother, Mary Lois Rodgers Bedwell; and her brothers, John Dewayne Bedwell and Dale Allen Bedwell.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at New Life Baptist Church, with the funeral service following at 12:30 pm.
Interment will be in Coleman Memorial Cemetery.
