Lillie Mae  Rider
Lillie Mae Rider, 63, of Marietta, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 30, 2016.

She is survived by her stepson, JR Murray; her three grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; her sisters, Betty Darnell, Louise Youngblood; her brothers, Jack, George, and Charlie Surett; her half-sisters, Violet Page and Dorothy Moffitt; her half-brothers, Joe and Jay Surett; her nieces and nephews; and her many many friends.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Ernie and Ronnie Murray; her parents, Henry and Mary Lee Surett; her husband, Elbert Murray; her brothers, Paul and Jacob Surett; her sisters, Carolyn Osborne, Mary "Lib" Pace, and Margaret Surett; and her three half-brothers.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to her caregivers, Elaine Leatherwood, Becky Shipman, and Karen Davis; and the wonderful staff at Homestead Hospice.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Marietta First Baptist Church, with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm.

Interment will be at Cleveland First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Flowers will be graciously accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the Greenville Cancer Society.
