Obituary for Permelia Burton Burdette
Permelia "Mickey" Burdette, 97, of Piedmont, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 16, 2016, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Mickey was born on October 5, 1918 in Laurens County and was predeceased by her parents, eight siblings and a son in law.
She is survived by a son, Henry (Pam) Burdette; daughters, Cynthia Haley and Pam (Dave) Davies; grandchildren, Heather (Jeff) Keller, Brad (Jodi) Burdette, Lauren Haley, Brandon Watson, Graham Haley, Blake Watson; and three great-grandchildren.
Mickey was known for her faith, love of her family and sense of humor.
A private Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
The family will be at the home of Pam Burdette Davies.
Memorials may be made to Mauldin United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville SC 29601.
The family wishes to thank Southern Oaks Healthcare Center and Interim Healthcare Hospice for the loving care provided.
