Dennis Ray Munshower
Dennis Ray Munshower, 69, of Taylors, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at his home in the presence of his loving wife, Susan, and dear friends, Harold Yoder and Patricia Price.

He was born in Mechanicsburg, PA on November 25, 1946 to the late George W. Munshower Jr. and Dorothy Hosan Munshower of New Cumberland, PA.

Dennis was a graduate of the Class of 1964 from Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill, PA. He went on to graduate from Valley Forge Military Academy, US Army Engineering School, and US Army Aviation School.

Dennis served active duty in the Army from 1966 through 1971. He served 16 months in Korea as a Combat Engineer Unit Commander. As Captain, he served as the Aviation Unit Commander, flying reconnaissance in Vietnam. Upon returning home, he spent many years operating his own businesses.

He loved people, history, airplanes, riding his motorcycle, salmon fishing, hunting trips, and eating cereal and pies.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Andrews Munshower; his two granddaughters in Pennsylvania; his chosen extended "Price" family in Pennsylvania; and although Dennis was an only child, he is survived by many "brothers and sisters", too many to list.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his stepmother, Helen Eckert Gerth Munshower of Columbia, PA; and his "brother", Bill Price III of Carlisle, PA.

At future dates, there will be Celebration of Life parties in South Carolina and Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dennis R. Munshower may be made to Homestead Hospice, 3453 Pelham Road, Suite 107, Greenville, SC 29615.
