Obituary for Richard Lee Hunt

Richard Lee Hunt, 64, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016.

He was born on January 20, 1952 in Belleville, IL to the late Richard P. Hunt and Delores Weaks Gordon.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Hunt, of the home; his children, Jennifer (Phillip) Trotter of Greenwood; Heather (Andrew) Fowler of Greenville; and Natalie (Christopher) Kane of Lee's Summit, MO; his sisters, Patricia Faulconer of NM; and Cyndi Rodriguez of KS; and his grandchildren, Alex, Haley, Jacob, and one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deanna Hunt Giles; and his sister, Deborah Hunt Boehle.

Richard proudly served his county in the USMC during the Vietnam War, and retired from service in 1991. After his military service, he worked for Security Forces Inc. and UPS, and retired in 2016.

He was also an active member of ASIS International.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Richard's name may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
