Obituary for Johnathan Douglas Mayle

Johnathan Douglas Mayle "Yank", 74, of Gray Court, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2017.

He is survived by his wife, Janet P. Mayle; his son, Robbie D. Brookshire; his brothers, David Mayle and Earstin Sheme; his grandchildren, Tristen Brookshire, Markie Brookshire, and Mallory Brookshire; and his two great-grandchildren, Chloe Brookshire and Ramona Brookshire.

He is preceded in death by his son, Marvin D. Brookshire; and his parents, Alva D. and Lillie D. Mayle.

Yank was an avid Hunter and loved to spend time outdoors.

The visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 1:00 pm at The Palmetto Mortuary, with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm.
