Obituary for Carroll Cecil Campbell

Carroll Cecil  Campbell
Carroll Cecil Campbell, 77, of Inman, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum.

He was the husband of Betty Jean Reid Campbell of the home, and the son of the late William Carl and Annabel Prewitte Campbell. Carroll was a retired Real Estate Broker, a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge, and a Hejaz Shriner. He also served 26 years as Commissioner of the Inman-Campobello Water District.

He is survived by his two sons, Ronnie (Deborah) of Hendersonville, NC and Rick (Terri) of Columbus, NC; his brother, Willie Campbell of Boiling Springs, and twin brother, Farroll Campbell of Inman; his three grandchildren, Lindsey (Dylan) Koehle, Brooke (Matthew) Russell, and Cassidy Campbell; and his one great-grandchild, Savannah Koehle.

Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn C. Ross and Doris C. Howell; and two brothers, Bud Campbell and Tip Campbell.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Gramling United Methodist Church at 2:00 pm, with Reverend Rebecca Wilkins and Reverend Will Brown presiding.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the Church Social Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wren Hospice, 955 West Wade Hampton Boulevard, Suite 3A, Greer, SC 29650.
