The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Josef Zitterbart can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Pep was one of my heroes. He was my youngest uncle and someone I admired and wanted to be like. Full of life, energy, and always smiling. He always put me to work on projects at the house on Hart drive and I loved riding with him in his car, which with me he always seemed to drive fast. I will miss you Pepe.

Condolence: I'll always remember Pep as the tallest uncle I had. Growing up he towered above you. With his prankster side, I never knew if I was in trouble or not - until he let out a belly laugh. :) I actually didn't know Pep's real name was Joe till I was a teenager. I knew him as Uncle Pep! He was a hard worker and missed out on some of our family gatherings due to working overtime, etc. I found some old pictures and shared them. I was fascinated with the work he did at the machine shop - having to get a piece of metal to 1/1000 of an inch variance. Precision at work. I will miss him and his stories of him growing up and moving to the United States. We Love you Pep. Becky :)

Condolence: I'll always remember Pep as the tallest uncle I had. Growing up he towered above you and he always kept you on your toes - until he busted out in a big laugh. He was a bit of a prankster and liked to pull our legs - I didn't always know if I was in trouble or not. :) I have fond memories of Pep - as we called him. I didn't know Joseph was his first name until I was a teenager. He was a hard worker and missed out on some of our gatherings because he would work overtime. I will miss him and his stories about how he came to the United States and his antics in Germany. I found some old pictures of Pep and uploaded them. He must have been camera shy because I have a lot of pictures of Diane, but few of Pep. Love Becky. :)
