N. Darleith Hamby, 83, was the daughter of George W and Nannie L Hamby. She was predeceased by six brothers and one sister. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Darleith graduated from Duncan High School and Brevard College. After moving to Greenville she worked as an administrative assistant at United Way, retiring from there in 2012.

Darleith grew up in Liberty Hill UMC but spend most of her adult life at Buncombe Street UMC. Not long before her death, she returned to Liberty Hill, and her memorial service will be held there on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Friends may greet the family beginning at 1:15 p.m.

Memorial gifts may be sent to either the church or to United Way.
