Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothea Allison can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dorothea Alice  Allison
Dorothea “Dottie” Alice Allison, 76, of Travelers Rest, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, March 1st, 2018.
She is survived by her spouse Edward Allison, her son, Bobby(terry) Allison; daughter, April (Roger) Fleming; sister, Carole Rogers; and brothers Robin West, and David West. Her adoring grandchildren, BJ, Blake(Tara), Brandon(Megan), Amanda, Taylor, Anthony, Daniel, and Victoria; her great-grandchildren, Chase, Karlei, Karis, Nathan, and Angelo. Along with her step-father, David West.
She is is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita West, and father Lonnie Inman.
Dorothea will always be remembered by her enormous heart. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, and friend. Dorothea was a mother not only to her children but to everyone she came to know. She was always willing to help others, and like her husband Edward has said “Mother Teresa has nothing on her”. Dorothea will always be in our hearts and her generous, kind, and giving personality will always be remembered.
The family will be holding a visitation at Calvary First Baptist Church, 11 Tampa Street, Greenville, SC on Saturday, March 10th, with visitation from 1:00pm - 2:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 2:00pm.
Per the families request, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to, Calvary First Baptist Church.
