Condolence: Hal was a friend, brother in law, joker, and most of the man that came into our life 30 years ago when he fell in love with my sweet sister Sandy. He was so intelligent but never made anyone feel less then him, he was our go to computer/video guy that put a smile on our face after losing a love one. We were always impressed by his grace and ability to continue making us laugh even when he was in pain. We will miss that laughter and smile but feel at peace that he is no longer induring pain on earth but smiled as he walked through those pearly gates. We love that man more then words could ever express but look forward to the day we will join him again. Love you always Hal

Condolence: Knew Hal for a number of years here at GE. Was always demanding a piece of candy... Told a lot of good jokes, stories, and work conversations. Great guy to work with and be around. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family from ours.

Condolence: I was able to work with Hal for a few years at GE. I could always count on him for a joke and a good laugh. I used to save my bottle caps to add to his collection (for his dog).
Hal will be greatly missed! My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.

Condolence: I knew Hal since I moved to Greenville and worked with him as a colleague at GE. Hal was a fine man. He was a bright spot at work. We could joke and laugh. He was an excellent expert in his profession that I could consult with. Life has its trials and hurdles but there are people that make the journey easier and more fun. Hal was one of those people. God bless Hal and god bless his family. He will be missed.
