The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Valerie Yesford can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Valerie F. Yesford of Simpsonville South Carolina passed away on Wednesday June 20th after a long illness. Valerie was the oldest child of George G Fiesinger Sr. and Kathryn Bump of Little Falls NY.

Valerie graduated from Saint Mary’s Academy of Little Falls New York in 1955. In 1959 she graduated from Nazareth College. On August 6th, 1960, she married John Yesford. After retiring from the Herkimer County New York Probation Department she moved to Greenville in 2005. Her home since February 6 2017 has been The Springs of Simpsonville.

She is survived by four of her five children, John, David, Susan Miller and Laura Corasaniti. Her son Paul and sister Cornelia predeceased her. She is also survived by her brother Gerry Fiesinger, her sister Sue Minnis, and her ex-husband John. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Noon on Saturday June 23rd at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church of Simpsonville. A burial service will be performed on Friday 7/6 by Moser Funeral home in Little Falls, NY. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make contributions to Birthright of Greenville where Valerie volunteered many hours.
