Obituary for Dianne F. Lancaster

DiAnne Fowler Lancaster, 69, of Fountain Inn, died Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 at McCall Hospice House.

Born in Simpsonville, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Alexander Fowler and Annie Balcombe Fowler. She was of the Baptist faith.

Prior to her retirement, DiAnne worked at Texize. She also worked as a bookkeeper and tax preparer for 35 years. For the past several years, she had worked in retail for Hamrick’s and K-Mart.

DiAnne enjoyed playing the piano and played in church for many years. She also loved to work in her yard and garden.

DiAnne is survived by her children Tim Lancaster (Kim), and Stephanie Lancaster Boyer (Mike); and six grandchildren, Holden Boyer, Harrison Boyer, Luke Lancaster, Hayden Boyer, Hamilton Boyer, and Lucy Lancaster.

Ms. Lancaster is preceded in death by a sister, JoAnne Fowler Gault, a brother, W.A. Sloan (Buddy), and a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Sloan.

The family is at the son’s home (104 Crescent Circle, Fountain Inn). A private memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, June 8th at Faith Renewed Church (505 S. Main St., Mauldin).
