Charles Bruce (Charlie) Wilson, 78, of Traveler’s Rest SC, passed away at his home on Monday, July 2nd 2018 surrounded by family. He was born in Great Falls, SC. He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Wilson, of Traveler’s Rest SC, his two sons, Jerry L. Wilson (Theresa) and Michael A. Wilson (Kristy), two step sons, Scott Pritchett (Elizabeth) and Steve Pritchett, two step daughters, Deidra Castaneda (Mario) and Shannon Crisp (Todd), 17 grandchildren, and 5 great grand-children. He is also survived by a brother, Steven A. Wilson of Greer, SC, and a sister, Peggy W. Chandler of Greer, SC.
He is predeceased by his first wife Rosalie Velez Wilson, his parents Eura Glenn and Etta Pauline Lucas Wilson, and sister, Glenda W. Smith.
Charlie was an engineer at Dove Broadcasting for over 30 years. Prior to working at Dove Broadcasting, he owned his own heating and air business. He was an air force veteran. He was a very kind and sweet man to all. He was known as “the man who could fix anything”, always ready to offer his talents to anyone in need. Charlie will always be remembered as a very loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
The family is at the home.
