Obituary for Carolyn Lea Green (Gould)

On July 15th, 2019 Carolyn Lea Green 75 of Lyman, SC who was a devoted wife, loving sister, parent, grandparent, and beloved member of the congregation, surrendered her life. She now waits for the promised resurrection God has promised in John 5:27-28. She is survived by her husband, Clifford Green, her older brother, "Bobby" and her four children, Richard Horton, Deborah Miller, Roy Santosky, and Scott Coddington. She also has seven grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, John Gould and Nellie Draper and three siblings, Richard, John and Kenneth Gould.
She worked until 1995 as a healthcare worker in New York before moving to South Carolina where she continued in the field until retirement in 2006. Carolyn had a very strong belief in the Bible and was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in 1988. Carolyn loved to make other people feel welcomed and would always put others first. She was an accomplished cook and taught herself to read music and play the piano. She had a natural talent with a paint brush and painted many lovely works of art for her friends and family. Carolyn loved life and the people in her life. Now she awaits the moment she will live again; however, those who knew her must grieve, having lost a very special wife, sibling, mother, grandparent, and friend. Carolyn knew that Jehovah will not forget his promise and she lives on in his memory until the paradise earth is restored.
