Obituary for Beatrice Ellen Todd (Bryant)

Beatrice Todd, 83, of Pickens, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18th, 2018.
She is survived by her adoring children, Richard Todd (JoAnn), Kenny Todd, Anita Anthony (Curtis), and Ruth Trebuchon (Lee); her grandchildren, Kevin Ballard, Jason Barton (Jessica), Joshua Barton (Tanya), Michael Todd (Kim), and Chris Todd (Tiffany); and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving soulmate, David Todd; her darling great granddaughter, six brothers, five sisters, and her parents.
Bea's greatest love was her family. Every Sunday, the Todd family could be found eating Bea's southern cooking. Bea also applied her cake decorating skills for every friend and family birthday. Bea also enjoyed sewing all of her children's clothes. She dedicated her life to her family. So much so that Granny Bea could not wait to retire so she could keep the grandchildren whenever her kids needed some adult time. She especially enjoyed taking the grandchildren to the flea market and yard sales. Family vacations were always treasured from taking her kids camping to going to the beach with her husband, adult children, and grandchildren. She was always up for a trip. However, those trips had to work around her weekly visits to the salon so she could get her curl just right. Bea was a lifelong member of Pickens Independent Baptist Church and loved serving her Lord.
The Graveside Service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway Pickens, South Carolina 29671 on Monday, January 22nd, 2018 at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 250 Commonwealth Drive, Suite k105, Greenville, SC 29615.
