George Delano "Dean" Harrill, 82, of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016.

Born in Taylors, SC, he was the husband of the late Dorothy "Dottie" Harrill, and the son of the late George Buford and Willie Mae Jones Harrill.

Dean is survived by one stepson, Roger Ward; his three sisters, Bobbie Owen, Norma Manchester, and Ann Holder; and his special friend, Rozella Moseley.

He was a Veteran of the US Army, and was the founder and owner of Leatherite and Nylorite Manufacturing, Inc. of Carmel, Indiana.

He was of the Baptist Faith.

The memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel at The Cascades Verdae, with the memorial service following at 4:00 pm.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the team at Piedmont Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greenville Humane Society.
