Mary D. Medlin, 76, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 2, 2017.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin Glen Medlin; her daughters, Darlene (Jerry) Parker; Angela M. Culpepper; her sons, Alvin D. (Kathryn) Medlin; Allon (Liz) Medlin; Glen (Christine) Medlin; and John Anthony Medlin; her siblings, Willie Mae Lee; Helen Simpson; Woodrow Durham; her twin sister, Margie Underwood; her 14 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma Durham; her son, Rodney D. Medlin; her siblings, Evelyn Medlin, Irene Stancell, Lee Hunt, and Ferlon Durham.

Mary was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be sorely missed.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at New Life Baptist Church, with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm.

Interment will be at Graceland West Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home of John Anthony Medlin.
