Obituary for Alice Faye Stancil (Fletcher)
Alice F. Stancil, 84, widow of Roy E. Stancil, went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Troy J. Fletcher and Florence I. Roberson.
Alice loved to cook and bake, collected salt and pepper shakers, enjoyed reading her bible and other books. She will be remembered for the love she had cooking for family and friends and spending time with them.
Alice is survived by her sons, Lynn Collins (Debbie), Chip Stancil (Michelle), daughter, Faye Bagwell (Jimmy); grandchildren, Kim Buxton, Blake Collins, Mackenzie Bagwell, Brad Bagwell, Logan Stancil, Matthew Eilliott and Heather Elliott; great grandchildren, Bryce Collins, Charlotte Collins, Landyn Clark, Eli Clark, Alana Bagwell, Krisleigh Bagwell, Elsie Taylor, Peyton Elliott and Dalton Elliott along with many other family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Stancil, daughters, Dianne Babb, Ramona Ann Collins and Debbie Elliott and her siblings, John Fletcher, Jack Fletcher and Martha Atwood; grandchild, Jamie Bagwell and great grandchild, Bailey Mizell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with the funeral service starting at 2:00 PM at Victory Chapel Baptist Church 9 S Pine Lake Circle Conestee, SC 29605. Interment will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens 7784 Augusta Road Piedmont, SC 29673 at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Victory Chapel Baptist Church.
The family will be at the home of 179 Snow Road Pelzer, SC.
