Obituary for Alyce Frances Countryman (Weir)
Alyce Frances Countryman, 85, loving wife of 60 years to Ronald Countryman, of Greenville South Carolina went to be with her Savior on March 19, 2021. Born in New Castle, PA she was the daughter of the late Francis M. Weir and Anne Caroline Moser Weir.
Alyce was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. She served as church organist for more than 60 years and served as a secretary at Bob Jones University for 20 years. Alyce loved her children, her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Along with her husband she is survived by her three children, Kay Miller(Stan); Judy Oakman(Jamie); and Bruce Countryman(Ellen); 9 grandchildren, Joy Miller, Holly Munoz(Luis), Emily Miller, Jay Miller(Taryn), Bradley Miller, Robert Oakman, Michael Countryman(Hannah), Matthew Countryman and Claire Countryman; one great grandchild Nathan Munoz and her second cousins Geraldine Robb and Janet Jarvis.
She was predeceased by her aunt Alice Jones.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 27 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM with service starting at 3:00 PM at Morningside Baptist Church 1115 Pelham Road Greenville, SC 29615.
