Born October 2, 1920 as Maria Antonia Uterano, Antoinette "Ann" Varrone, of Greer, SC, experienced a full century's worth of evolution. She passed away peacefully Sunday, November 22, 2020.
One of six children, she grew up in a four-room Brooklyn apartment with a coal stove, an ice box, and a shared bathroom without running hot water. She met her husband Anthony in 1939. She is survived by her three daughters: Patricia MacMurray (Dave), Kathleen Cobb (Ed), and Annette Crotti (Jim); grandchildren: David MacMurray (Kelly), Brian MacMurray (Jackie), Joseph Khoobyar (Jessica), Maria Khoobyar, and Alexandra Crotti; and seven great-grandchildren.
