Obituary for April Lynn Podd (Black)
April Lynn Black Podd, 61, of Greenville, SC went to be with her God, Thursday, March 24, 2022 She was born in Dallas, Texas to the late John and Joyce Williams Black. April is survived by her loving husband of thirty four years Kenneth C. Podd Sr.; son, Kenneth C. Podd Jr.; daughter, Hanna Tamberelli (Tyler); sister, Murva Black; grandchildren, Layla Tamberelli, and Jacey Tamberelli; many loving cousins and friends; her pets, Si and Roscoe.
April and her husband lived overseas for many years. April was a support system to her husband during his entire career. She always made a home for herself and her children. She was a loving mother to her two children and many others, she met through out her life as she was a nurturing, and caring soul. April enjoyed interior design, fashion, gardening, reading, shopping, cooking, and world traveling.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, April 1st, 2022 at 4pm at the Poinsett Club, 807 E. Washington, Greenville, SC 29601.
