Obituary for Arnold Alex Taylor
Arnold "Cotton" Alex Taylor, 71, of Simpsonville, SC, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 19, 2022. He was born in Hendersonville, NC to the late James and Louise Taylor.
Cotton is survived by his wife, Ann; daughter, Bre Burton; grandchildren, Taylor and Lily Burton; sister, Cathy Pressley; and brother, Ernest Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Gasperson; and brother, Steve Taylor.
Cotton enjoyed a 38-year career with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office. In his free time, he enjoyed cars and playing golf.
A Celebration of Cotton's Life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Marathon Church, 315 Roe Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Simpsonville Church of God, 130 Stokes Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681, www.simpsonvillechurchofgod.org; or Marathon Church, www.marathonchurch.org.
