Obituary for Arto Wheeler Jr.
Arto "Jay" Wheeler, Jr., 59, of Piedmont, SC, departed Sunday, May 15, 2022. He was born in Boston, MA to Elizabeth Seabrook Wheeler and the late, Arto Wheeler, Sr.
Jay enjoyed playing and watching all sports, Loyal to his Boston roots, his favorite teams were the Celtics and the Red Sox.
In addition to his mother, Jay is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Yvonne Cunningham Wheeler; daughter, Lakiesha Johnson; stepdaughter, Latosha Cunningham; grandson, Donald Christopher Williams, Jr.; sisters: Dianne Johnson, Delores Wheeler, and Sylvia Wheeler; niece and caregiver, Jessica Moss; and many extended family members including aunts, an uncle, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Wheeler.
Jay was a good man who touched many lives. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
