Obituary for Austen Walker Capatino
Austen "Walker" Capatino, 25, of Simpsonville, South Carolina passed away April 7, 2022. He was born in Greenville to Melissa Hathcox and Kris Capatino.
Growing up, Walker could be found at the dirt bike track or fishing in the nearest pond. He loved chemistry, drawing, and creating the biggest and best homemade fireworks. He loved to make people laugh and made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Walker is survived by parents, Melissa and Joshua Hathcox, and Kris and Jamie Capatino; grandparents, Dennis and Gail Fortner, and Walter Capatino; brother, Andrew Capatino; sisters, Bella Capatino (niece Sofia), Whitney Fusonie, and Addison Fusonie; aunt, Michele Fields (Jim); bonus brother, Trey Fusonie; and his best friend, Devin Sosebee. He was preceded in death by his Memaw, Ann Capatino.
The memorial service to celebrate Walker’s life will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Rd., Greenville, SC 29607. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to FAVOR Upstate, 355 Woodruff Rd #303, Greenville, SC 29607, www.favorupstate.org.
