Brenda Sue Rabenhorst, 73, of Taylors, SC, went to be with the lord on March 27, 2021. She was the forth of six children born to the late Carl Wharely Hardeman and Mary Rubye Hardeman. She was preceded in death by her older sisters, Barbara Ann Hardeman and Mary Jeanette Hardeman Warren (David); and her younger brother, Thomas Nolan Hardeman (Suzanne).
She was born in Dyersburg, TN. The family lived in several different cities before settling in Memphis after the death of her father when she was 11. She graduated from Treadwell HS in 1966. She then married Ron Rabenhorst in 1970 and they had two children. She was an active member of the Church of Christ for her entire life and taught young children in Sunday school for many years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Ron Rabenhorst; daughter, Wendy Rabenhorst Rojas (Augie) of Easley, SC; and a son, Brian Rabenhorst (Kara) of Henderson, NV; older brother, Carl Wayne Hardeman (Ann) of Collierville, TN; younger sister, Amy Ruth Hardeman Bishop (Joe) of Cordova, TN; and a host of grandchildren. great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 2, 2021 at Taylors Church of Christ, 3506 Edwards Rd., Taylors, SC and will be preceded by a 1:00 PM visitation.
