I met Brenda & Ray 60 yrs ago through my cousin Gay LaCalamita & they became part of our family since that day. She was a beautiful person inside & out. When I would visit Gay in California we always spent time with Brenda & Ray ( I was the little sister to Gay & Brenda).
I will never forget all Brenda did for me & my cousin Rose Marie when Gay passed away - she opened up her heart & her home for us! She was a “DEARHEART”
& special person that will truly be missed. I’m sure her & Gay are having a glass of wine right now!!
My condolences to Ray & the rest of the Family.
Love You

To my beautiful Brenda, Today we said farewell to you as you continue your eternal journey. I just wish I had one more opportunity to tell you how much you are loved by all whose lives you have touched over the years, and mine in particular. A wonderful and beautiful person on the inside, as much as on the outside. For 60 years, so I must have been 4 years old when you joined our family, and I am so grateful to have taken life’s journey with YOU in mine. I remember as a child, Mom and Dad would tell me ‘Ray and Brenda are coming over tonight, go get cleaned up’. I also remember the joy and smile on my face as I heard those words. And the 4 of you would play the game ‘Aggravation’. It still rings in my ears ‘Tee hee Ray, Tee hee’, as you cheerfully knocked his playing marble back to home! You were absolutely ruthless in that game! And of course, a Root Beer for Brenda, your favorite. I also love my Root Beer, and I will always think of you each time I open one in your Honor. I hope you know, you weren’t just my brother’s spouse, but more of a sister – from another Mister, as the saying goes. I am heartbroken for sure, I reason with myself that ‘If Brenda knew, she would kick my booty from California to England and back!’ And that does help to keep me going. And to my brother Ray, Thank you for bringing this wonderful loving woman into our lives! Sleep well my darling sister Brenda. I love you so much!
