Obituary for Bruce Strong
R Bruce Strong, 76, of Simpsonville, SC, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was born in Springfield, MA to the late Archie and Bernice Hamilton Strong.
Bruce was a veteran of the US Army. He worked for the TJX - Marshalls retail chain for years before retiring and starting a mailbox repair business. Additionally, Bruce enjoyed volunteering for Greenville Track Club for many years. Bruce was well loved and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Beshaw Strong; son, Christopher Strong; siblings: Charlie Strong, Sue Chadderton, Shirley Rae, and Archie Strong; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Strong.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
