Obituary for Bryan Roderick Mcleod
Bryan Roderick McLeod, born in Michigan on March 9,1945, died January 16, 2023 at his residence in Spartanburg, SC in the loving arms of his wife of 55 years, Elaine.
He is also survived by son David ( Leslie) McLeod and daughter Rebecca (Morgan) Dernar; grandchildren Doneven (Victoria) and Austin Dernar; Cayce (Levi) Schell and Hunter McLeod (Emily Young); great grands Amari and Coast Dernar, and Sadie Schell. Many nieces and nephews.
Bryan worked for McDonald's before becoming an owner-operator of his own franchises. He went on to open a restaurant with his wife in Charleston, before moving on to a realty career in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida. Bryan was a member of Nazareth Presbyterian Church. He was proud of all his business adventures but not as proud as he was of his family and faith.
