Obituary for Burley Lee Bonner Jr.
Burley L. Bonner, Jr. 83, beloved husband to Joyce E. Bonner, of Greer went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2022. Born in Hendricks, WV he was the son of the late Burley L. Bonner, Sr. and Helena Adamson Bonner.
Burley enjoyed dancing, hunting, landscaping and spending time with his family. He was a hard worker, enjoyed hunting with his kids, an avid gardener and every house they lived in he built. He will be remembered for his concern and the love for his family.
In addition to his wife, Burley, is survived by his sons, Eric (wife Samantha), Mark (wife Cindy) and Kevin the Great (wife Suzy) Bonner; sister, Shirley Miller; brother, Vernon Bonner; grandchildren, Josh, Gwen, Burley, Lexi, Alex and Zoey Bonner; special friends, Gary Horning, George Fleet and Mack Rhaney and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Bonner.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church 2252 Woodruff Road Simpsonville, SC 29681. Inurnment will be at a later date at Pineland Cemetery in Strongstown, PA.
