Carlos Homero Santana, 64, originally from Corpus Christi, TX went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 27th, 2019. He was the son of the late Gilbert Cruz Santana and Guadalupe Medrano Santana.
He was the loving spouse to Sharon Coker and cherished father to his three children, Shannon Santana Gaffney (Montez), Carlos "The Kid" Santana (Shannon), and Kirsten Santana Tucker (Joey); three step-children, Andrea Burrell (Scott), Adam Richards, and Matthew Coker; grandfather to 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; loving brother to twelve brothers and sisters; and he also leaves behind his many nieces and nephews, cousins, great friends and the one of a kind dog, Chopper.
He was predeceased by one sister.
Carlos and Sharon, enjoyed football, lake time, fellowship with friends and family, and traveling together. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy, Clemson Tiger and Braves fan and enjoyed the freedom of riding on his Harley. He loved life and those who knew him will miss him dearly.
The family will be receiving friends and family at Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Road Greenville, South Carolina 29607 on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. The service will follow at Palmetto Mortuary 1017 Mauldin Road Greenville, South Carolina 29607 on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at 2:30 pm. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the VFW located at 885 Old Easley HWY, Greenville, SC 29611.
