Carolyn has been my mother-in-law for 21 years. She never treated me like an outcast. I was afraid when we told her Joe and I were going to marry, that she would not approve of our interracial marriage ( because I am biracial) but she accepted me as I was. She loved me. She loved my daughter and she always made us feel welcome in her home. I'm going to miss her. But I know it's just a matter of time before I see her again. She's in the arms of Jesus.
