Obituary for Carris Manley Caudle Jr.
Carris Manley Caudle, Jr., 81, of Greenville, SC passed away peacefully Monday, April 12, 2021. He was born in Charlotte, NC to the late, Mary and Carris Caudle.
Carris is survived by his wife of 58 years, Annette Gant Caudle; daughter, Melinda Jenkins (Evan); son, Mark M. Caudle (Ashley Delaney); grandchildren: Chase Ramsey, Ashlyn Klas, Amanda Farley, Justin Martin, Tyler Caudle, Darby Caudle, Cameron Delaney, and Claire Delaney; great-grandchildren: Owen Klas, Oaklyn Klas, and Brooks Manley Farley (who is in the oven); brother, Robert M. Caudle; and nephews: Scott, Wesley, and Kelly Caudle.
He worked at Eastern AirLines for 27 years and owned and operated Caudle Irrigation, Lawn and Janitorial Co. from 1988 until he retired. Carris was Scout Master of Troop 45 at Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church for ten years, where he also served as a deacon and an elder. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, and traveling.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church, 9401 S Tryon St., Charlotte, NC 28273, www.cscpc.org.
