Obituary for Cheryl Ann Edds (Peavey)
Cheryl Ann Edds, 72, of Taylors, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021. She was born in Winter Haven, FL to the late Ruby McDonald and Terrell Peavey.
An avid NFL and NCAA football fan, Cheryl's favorite team was the Florida Gators. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, watching NASCAR and loved animals, especially Yorkshire Terriers and hummingbirds.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, Dana Curtis Edds. She is survived by her daughters, Melisa Miller Nordmeyer (Christopher) and Danielle Leigh Cook; grandchildren: Aspen Sage Cleveland, Ellis Ruby Cook, and Oona Anne Cook; great-grandchildren, Asher Dawson Cleveland and Sophia Ruby Cleveland; and sister, Valerie Peavey.
She will be remembered by her kindness, her big heart, and for being a good neighbor.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 - 4:00 PM Saturday, 2/6/21 at 24 Hoppin John Lane, Taylors, SC 29687. If you plan to attend, please wear a mask and observe social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Greenville Humane Society.
