Obituary for Christine R Wardlaw

Christine R Wardlaw, 78, of Greenville, SC, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 7, 2020. She was born in Burnsville, NC to the late Frank and Cartha Chrisawn Robinson.

Christine enjoyed spending time at the lakehouse in Greenwood, Myrle Beach, and the mountains in Burnsville. She collected antiques and white milk glass, but her greatest passion was her family. She was one of the most caring, loving, hard working, and special wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother one would have been blessed to know. Christine's will be remembered as the greatest mom ever.

Preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Robinson, she is survived by her dear husband of 50 years, Ralph L. Wardlaw; daughters, Toni Wilkie (Hank) and Sonya Springfield (Harold); sons, Carroll and Stacey Dockery (Patti); 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Stegall and Sharon McCluskey (Jim); brother, Clyde Robinson; cousin, Louise Johnson; and many extended family members.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Conestee Assembly of God, 23 Main St., Greenville, SC 29605. The family will receive friends and loved ones two hours prior, beginning 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
