Obituary for Danny Nick Porter
Danny Nick Porter, 62, of Greenville, South Carolina,
son of the late Mary Ruth and Thomas Lynn Porter,
husband of 38 years to his adoring wife Linda Gayle Porter, went to be with the Lord on,
Friday, December 20, 2019.
He is survived in life by his wife, his son, Jason Tomlinson (Jennifer); grandchildren, Brayden and Baylee; brother, Rick Porter (Tawana); brother-in-law, Terry Pitts (Lorrie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his parents and his grandparents.
Nick had a comedic personality which helped him befriend everyone he met. He will be remembered for his love of blues music, cooking, eating and being a self proclaimed food connoisseur.
Nick wanted to leave a message for everyone:
"My greatest joy in life has been my son, Jason Tomlinson and I could not have been more proud of a son if he were my own blood."
The family will be having a memorial service at a later date.
