Obituary for Dayton Keith Simons
Dayton Keith Simons, 33, of Easley, SC, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was born in Hickory, NC to Debra Ann Simons and the late Richard Dayton Simons, Jr.
Quiet natured, Dayton found peace working and being outdoors. He was a landscaper by profession and enjoyed fishing and gardening in his free time. He was often called "the animal whisperer" as all animals loved him.
In addition to his mother, Dayton is survived by his brother, Gregory Scott Hooks; grandmother, Patricia Ann Tadlock; nephew, Hunter Lake Hooks; his beloved canine companion, Chloe; his two kitties, Jeb and Callie; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene Simons; and both grandfathers, Richard Dayton Simons, Sr. and William Allen Greiner, Sr.
The family will receive friends and loved ones 5:00 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the Bennett Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his mother, Debra Ann Simons.
