Obituary for Denise Sue Mullen
Denise Sue Mullen, 67, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away peacefully Thursday April 14, 2022. She was born December 22,1954 to the late Richard and Nadine (Wiemers) Mullen in Oak Harbor, WA. She graduated from Beatrice High School in 1973 and went on to graduate with degrees in both robotics and computer systems from Oklahoma State Technical College in Okmulgee, OK.
Denise lived in Oklahoma, Nebraska, and North Carolina before settling in South Carolina. An avid reader, enjoyed learning new things. She loved to travel and had a knack for helping others
Denise is survived by her daughter, Heather Mullen in Spartanburg, SC; sister, Lori Harder of Lincoln, NE; brother, Douglas Mullen (Diana) of Raleigh, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Jim Mullen.
A Celebration of of Denise's Life will be held at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
