Obituary for Dennis Lee Fish
Dennis Lee Fish, 67, of Greer, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2020. He was the son of the late Alvah and Irene Fish.
He is survived by sisters, Cynthia Gilliland(Reverend Danny) of Greenville, Joyce E. Fish of Greenville, sister in-law, Marilyn Fish of Simpsonville; aunt Macie Reep of Charlotte; nieces, Reverend Danielle McIntyre (Reverend David McIntyre) of Greenville, Dana Spadafora (Patrick)of Simpsonville; nephews, Tim Gilliland (Renee) of Simpsonville, Jason Fish (Amber) of Greenville; six great nieces, one great nephews, one great great niece, 2 great great nephews, and four extend family members and life long friends, Chris Phillips, David Eastman, Danny Powell, and Jack Pruitt.
He was preceded in death by his brother Roger Dale Fish.
Dennis was an avid Chess Master, member of the Greenville Chess Club, member of Southside Baptist Church and a vicious monopoly player. He loved teaching, croquette, and the game of risk. Dennis enjoyed playing golf with his brother Dale, nephew Jason, and friend Jack.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Mauldin Church of God, 411 E. Butler Road, Mauldin, South Carolina. The service will begin at 5:00pm with visitation to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Conestee Church of God, PO Box 1029, Mauldin, South Carolina, 29662.
